Rita Moreno is a female born on December 11, 1931. Rita’s birth name is Rosa Dolores Alverio Marcano and she was born in Humacao, Puerto Rico. She is the daughter of Rosa Maria and Francisco Jose Alverio.
Rita’s father was a farmer while her mother was a seamstress. She was brought up alongside her young brother Francisco. Moreno moved to New York City with her mother and, as soon as she settled in the city, she started taking dancing lessons from a Spanish dancer.
