Stayce Holte is the founder of Stacey Holte Love Conglomerate. She is the niece and adopted daughter of R&B Patti LaBelle. Her mother died in the 80s and her aunt adopted her and her brother. She also adopted Dodd and Stanley when their mother, who was her neighbor, died. Stayce stays out of the spotlight the most compared to the rest of Patti’s children. Patti is a proud mother of five children.

Patti is an American actor and R&B singer. She is referred to as ‘Godmother of Soul’.
Patti rose to fame in the 60s as a lead singer of the group Patti Labelle and the Bluebelles and made hits like ‘Lady Marmalade’. She began a solo career in 1976 and released her first album with hits like ‘New Attitude’, ‘Love Need and Want’, ‘Want You’, and ‘Stir it Up’. She won the 1992 Grammys for best female R&B vocal performance for her album ‘Burnin’.
She has been featured in shows like ‘A Different World’, ‘The Masked Singer’ and ‘American Horror Story’. She had a role in the Oscar-nominated film A Soldier Story and starred in her TV sitcom ‘Out All Night’.
She runs a cooking business with recipes she makes for her family starting with their favorite sweet potato pie in 2015. Patti shared about her sister’s death in the 2023 Apple Fitness Time to Walk episode.’ When I got home, I called to see how she was doing and she said she was fine and wanted an egg sandwich. She always loved my cooking and needed some real food since the hospital food was not to her liking. I did not think she would pass that day but she died before I arrived at the hospital. Patti recalled.
Patti got married in 1969 to Armstead Edwards and had one son Zuri Kye Edwards, they adopted two sons Dodd and Stanley and in 1989 they adopted William and Stayce. Armstead was a teacher but quit to be Patti’s manager until they separated and divorced in 2003. She has five children Zuri, Dodd, Stanley, William, and Stayce Holte.

Zuri Kye Edwards is Patti’s only biological son born on 17th July 1973. His father is Armstead Edwards. Zuri has been Patti’s manager till today. He is married to Lona Azami and they have three children Leyla, Gia, and Zuri Kye Jr.
Dodd Stocker Edwards and Stanley Stocker Edwards were adopted in 1973. They were Patti’s neighbor and she took them in after the mother died. Dodd went to the University of North Texas and was the marketing director of Global Cure CBD Wellness Center in Florida. He founded PUMP Dog Performance Apparel in Philadelphia and lives in New Jersey. Stanley is an attorney at Covington and Burling LLP in Washington DC. He went to Harvard Law School and dated Michelle Obama for a while.
Patti adopted William and Stayce Holte after their mother, Patti’s younger sister Jackie Holte, died. She died in 1989 from brain cancer. Stayce founded Stacey Holte Love Conglomerate an organization that creates unity among diverse people.
